About the Workplace At Nova, strong bonds are formed between young people and staff as we have many long-term placements. Our young people come from all over the world and at our workplace we speak over 15 languages together. HVB Nova is under ASF and receives youth who are placed under the Social Services Act (SoL) or Care of Young Persons Act (LVU) and who are placed based on care and environment considerations. HVB Nova is also Malmö City's only municipal residential facility for unaccompanied children ages 13 to 21 who have received permanent/temporary residence permits (PUT/TUT) or have been assigned to Malmö while awaiting a decision from the Swedish Migration Agency, as well as children/youth in transition processes ages 13-21. HVB Nova also has two emergency placements at the disposal of Malmö City.
