We're looking for you to guide our clients toward a more independent and drug-free life. We welcome your application today! About the Workplace In the city, the Social Services Department is responsible for individual and family care. Our mission is to enable residents to become independent in life so they can take an active part in society. We have undergone an exciting organizational change focused on creating a more accessible social service based on three main areas: authority, services and support, and housing. We have high ambitions. But to succeed, we need you (and a few others). Within the service and support area, we have, among other things, our treatment for substance abuse and addiction. The treatment is aimed at adults over 20 years old and we offer both CBT and 12-step treatment with aftercare for one year. We are now looking for a new colleague for CBT. CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) CBT is a method where we work goal-oriented together with the client to understand and change behaviors and thought patterns. The goal is to create sustainable change and increased quality of life. The facility also offers 12-step treatment, which is a treatment method based on community, responsibility, and personal development. The goal is to support the individual in achieving lasting recovery from addiction and increased quality of life. Work Tasks Treatment takes place in groups led by treatment assistants. Treatment content is based on CBT. The treatment includes both group activities and regular individual sessions with clients. There is continuous intake of clients. Clients may come to treatment with a decision from a social worker regarding inpatient treatment, or clients can self-refer to outpatient treatment. Staff in the facility also have overall responsibility for admissions and discharges from the apartments and for supporting inpatient clients toward independent living. We work on a schedule with day, evening, and weekend shifts in 13-hour blocks. What We Offer We offer you varied, responsible, and stimulating work with opportunities for your own development. The workplace is smoke-free and health-conscious. As an employee, you receive a wellness allowance of 3,000 kronor per year. Qualifications We are looking for you who have: A degree in social work or education as a treatment pedagogue, social pedagogue, treatment assistant, or equivalent education that the employer considers equivalent. Experience working with treatment with this target group. Preferred: experience with CBT and/or 12-step treatment. Good knowledge of harmful substance use and addiction issues. Knowledge and experience of individual sessions and group treatment. Driver's license and ability to drive. We would like our future colleague to have: Very good ability to collaborate, flexible and sees possibilities. Ability to independently plan and perform your work tasks.
