Privacy Policy

1. Data Controller

Individual entrepreneur Jan Fűri, ID No. (IČO): 04900651, registered office Vyškov-Předměstí, Žižkova 690/18, Czech Republic (hereinafter the "Operator") is the data controller of personal data processed in connection with the operation of the internet portal assetlog.ai, available at https://assetlog.ai (hereinafter the "Service").

2. Privacy-First Approach

The Operator runs the Service as a privacy-respecting platform and minimises the processing of personal data to what is necessary. The only analytics tool used is Google Analytics, which moreover runs only with the visitor's explicit consent (see Section 3). Without cookies, the Service only counts how many people arrived through tracking links (see Section 3c).

3. Traffic Analytics (Google Analytics)

Solely for the purpose of improving its services, the Operator measures the Service's traffic using Google Analytics (provided by Google Ireland Limited). This measurement is performed only on the basis of consent given by the visitor through the cookie banner on the first visit; until consent is given, no Google Analytics cookies or scripts are loaded.

The sole purpose is improving the quality, content, and performance of the Service — the Operator looks at aggregate statistics (e.g. which pages are visited), not at identified individuals.
The Operator does not build advertising profiles, does not use the data for targeted advertising, and does not sell it to third parties for marketing.
Consent is voluntary and can be withdrawn at any time — via the "Cookie settings" link in the footer or by clearing cookies in your browser. Declining does not limit the functionality of the Service in any way.
The Operator does not perform automated decision-making or behavioural profiling within the meaning of Article 22 GDPR.

3a. Payments (Stripe)

If you purchase a paid listing subscription, the payment is processed by Stripe (Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd.) as a separate processor of payment data. The Operator does not store or process payment card details — you enter them directly into Stripe's secure interface. Only the data necessary to issue a tax document and to manage the subscription (e.g. email, billing name and country, payment status) is passed to the Operator. Stripe's processing of data is governed by the Stripe Privacy Policy.

3b. AI in the Editor: Images, Videos, Assistant and Floor Plans (OpenAI, Runway, Anthropic)

If you use the "Generate with AI" feature in the Home design editor, the Operator passes to OpenAI, as a processor, the selected photo of your Project, a description of the objects in the shot (type, dimensions and materials, and any room names you entered), the text of your request and the pictures you uploaded as a model for objects in the shot ("Add a picture", Terms Article 2e.6). Your name, email and other account data are not passed on. Uploaded pictures are re-encoded when saved (metadata, including the camera location, is removed), only you can see them and you can delete them at any time in your picture library. The only purpose is to create the image you ordered (performance of a contract, Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). Under its terms, OpenAI does not use API data to train its models and keeps it for a limited time (at most 30 days) to detect abuse; processing may take place outside the EU. The created image is saved in your Project and you delete it together with the photo or the Project. You do not have to use the feature — without it, your Project is not sent anywhere outside the Operator.

If you use the "Animate with AI" feature, the Operator passes to Runway AI, Inc. (USA), as a processor, the camera walkthrough clip created in the editor, the text of your request and, where you choose one, an image used as a look reference. If you do not choose one, the Operator passes the first frame of the clip to OpenAI (as with "Generate with AI" above), which creates the look reference from it. The video is made by the Kling model (Kuaishou), which Runway runs on its platform. Your name, email and other account data are not passed on. The only purpose is to create the video you ordered (performance of a contract, Article 6(1)(b) GDPR). Processing at Runway takes place outside the EU. The Operator deletes the clip once the video is finished; the finished video is saved in your Project and you delete it in the editor or together with the Project.

If you use the AI assistant in the homeplot editor, the Operator passes to Anthropic (USA), as a processor, the text of your message, the previous messages of the conversation and a summary of the Project you are working on (dimensions, rooms and their names, furniture, garden, descriptions for AI). The Rearrange furniture button passes, in the same way, a description of the selected room (dimensions, walls, doors, windows and the furniture in it). Your name, email and other account details are not passed on. The sole purpose is to create the answer and the changes to the Project that you ask for (performance of a contract, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Under its terms, Anthropic does not use API data to train its models; processing may take place outside the EU. The Operator keeps the conversation only while the answer is being created (at most 15 minutes) and permanently stores only a usage record (number of text units processed and the price) for billing. Please therefore write in your messages only what concerns the Project.

If you use the house from a floor plan photo feature in the homeplot editor, the Operator passes to Anthropic (USA), as a processor, the image of the floor plan you upload (reduced in size and without EXIF data, so also without the location from your phone). Your name, email and other account details are not passed on; if the image contains anything else (a stamp with an address, the designer's name), it is passed on as part of the image. The sole purpose is to read the walls, windows, doors and dimensions and to build a house from them in your Project (performance of a contract, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). Under its terms, Anthropic does not use API data to train its models; processing may take place outside the EU. The Operator keeps the image and the reading result for 30 days (as a basis for checking the house) and then deletes them; deleting the Project removes them immediately.

3c. Tracking Links

If you arrive through one of our tracking links (homeplot.ai/go/…), we record which link you came through and a one-day fingerprint calculated from your IP address and browser. We store neither the IP address nor the browser details, and we write nothing to your browser. If you register, we store the link's label with your account. Visit records are deleted after 400 days. The purpose is to measure which promotion works (legitimate interest, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

3d. Project Showcases (homeplot)

If you send us a showcase of your project in the homeplot editor ("Show off your project"), we process the selected AI image and the editor preview it was created from, the signature and comment you entered, and the date of your consent. After review we publish them on homeplot.ai and possibly on homeplot's Facebook page, where published content is also subject to the terms of Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. The legal basis is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw it at any time in the editor (Remove showcase) or by email; we will then remove the showcase from homeplot.ai and from our Facebook page. Withdrawal does not affect processing carried out before it. We keep the record of the showcase for the lifetime of your account to document your consent and the one-time AI credit reward.

4. Cookies

The Service uses strictly necessary cookies — i.e. cookies that are technically essential for the website to function (e.g. authentication session, CSRF protection, basic user preferences). In accordance with Section 89(3) of the Czech Act No. 127/2005 Coll. (ePrivacy) and recital 66 of Directive 2002/58/EC, strictly necessary cookies do not require prior consent.

In addition, the Service stores Google Analytics analytics cookies, but only after consent has been given through the cookie banner. Your choice (consent or refusal) is remembered in a technical cookie named analytics_consent. No advertising or third-party marketing cookies are placed.

The homeplot editor (homeplot.ai) uses neither Google Analytics nor any other analytics or advertising tools, so it has no cookie banner; tracking links (Section 3c) use no cookies. It stores only what is strictly necessary: the sign-in cookies assetlog_token and assetlog_auth (shared with assetlog.ai so that one sign-in is enough), the homedesign_locale cookie with the language the user chooses, and editor settings such as units, grid or panel layout in the browser's storage (localStorage). Editor settings stay in the browser and are not sent to the server.

5. Data Actually Collected

Apart from counting visits from tracking links (Section 3c), the Operator processes only personal data that a user actively and voluntarily submits — typically an email address and phone number entered into an advertisement, so that interested parties can contact the advertiser. Data in an advertisement is published as part of it only because — and only to the extent that — the user has chosen to include it. Technical server logs may be kept for a short period of time solely for security, abuse prevention, and legal-compliance purposes, and are not used for analytics.

6. Legal Basis and User Rights

Any processing of personal data is carried out in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Czech Act No. 110/2019 Coll. The legal basis is the performance of a contract (operation of the Service) and the legitimate interest of the Operator in running a secure portal. Users may at any time request access, correction, or deletion of their data, or object to its processing, by contacting [email protected]. Users also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection (Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů).

7. Changes to This Policy

The Operator reserves the right to amend this Privacy Policy at any time; the new version becomes effective upon publication on the Service. The "Effective date" at the top of this page indicates the latest revision.
