We are seeking a permanent colleague as well as a substitute for a six-month temporary position with the possibility of extension. About the workplace In the municipality, the Social Services Department is responsible for individual and family care. Our mission is to enable residents to become independent in life so they can take an active part in society. To enable home-based solutions, we have HVB and supported housing places for children and young people in Helsingborg Municipality. You will be part of the Housing Operations Area within the Social Services Department and work within our HVB unit. Our HVB homes receive boys and girls aged 12–19 with various issues including psychosocial problems, early substance abuse and criminality, or placement following treatment, and we actively work with family and networks according to Signs of Safety. The positions are at 95% with scheduled working hours that include day shifts, evening shifts, and weekend shifts. We welcome your application! Responsibilities As a Family Treatment Worker at HVB, you will have engaging, varied, and challenging work with great opportunities to influence both daily operations and long-term development. We work to ensure young people have a functioning everyday life, where structure, activities, and meaningful leisure time are key elements. As a Family Treatment Worker, we work for and with the young person and their entire network. The work includes individual conversations and family meetings. As a Family Treatment Worker, you will serve as a contact person for some of the young people, meaning you provide continuity in treatment work and coordinate the necessary contacts around the young person, though you work with all our placed young people. Based on the young person's care plan, you develop goals together with them and their family, which are documented in an implementation plan. Documentation is done in Journal Digital. Qualifications We are looking for someone who has: a degree in social work, social pedagogy, or other education that the employer deems appropriate. experience in social work with children and young people in HVB is meriting experience in substance abuse, network work, psychiatry, and neurodevelopmental conditions is meriting good ability to express yourself in speech and writing and good computer skills; experience with Journal Digital is meriting. a driver's license and ability to drive a car. Ability to self-manage and work independently. training in Signs of Safety, MI, RePulse, systems theory, substance abuse, Step 1 training, and training related to self-harm behaviors is meriting.
