JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Do you want through your work to contribute to children and young people getting better conditions in life? Do you enjoy a role where you work closely with families in close collaboration with dedicated colleagues? At High-Intensity Youth Support (HUS), we work with the target group of children and young people (usually 13-18 years old) who are subjects of Social Services Act or Care of Young Persons Act placements, as well as providing intensive support aimed at their guardians and network. We work on assignment from the responsible social worker with whom we have close collaboration, all so that families get the best possible conditions. In each family, two specialists work together, a youth specialist and a family specialist. You will have different roles in different families. Your work tasks will include: • Actively work with families where support is needed and tailor interventions based on identified needs. • Work with individual conversations and family meetings, which largely take place in families' homes. • Work closely with the other specialist and together ensure that implementation plans are established and set goals are followed. • Motivate, support and intensively follow up a small number of families at a time. • Actively work to involve the family's own network, including through family group conferences and Signs of Safety. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who is confident, stable and calm, even in stressful situations. You choose your battles wisely by listening, communicating and resolving conflicts in a constructive way. Furthermore, you have confidence in yourself and are secure in your role as a treatment specialist. As a person, you are always a good role model for the families we meet - in all situations. You create and maintain supportive relationships, show understanding for others while clearly being able to set boundaries. A fundamental prerequisite for success in this work is that you collaborate with others to achieve set goals. You will primarily work daytime, but evenings may also occur. Requirements: • Educated social worker, social pedagogue, treatment pedagogue or other education that the employer deems equivalent • Experience with treatment/change work with children & young people • Class B driver's license • Regular documentation is part of your work tasks, which requires that you master Swedish in speech and writing and have good computer skills Meritorious competencies: • Education and experience in Motivational Interviewing (MI), Connect, COPE, Active Parenting, ABC, A-CRA, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Signs of Safety and Repulse • Experience with public authority work with children, young people and families • It is meritorious if you have worked in Journal Digital (JD) and/or LifeCare. Interviews may be held during the application period.
