We are now hiring temporary staff for night shifts at Myran in Östersund for summer 2026. You will receive introductory training with valuable knowledge about care and service. You see each individual and have the ability to understand what each person needs. Thanks to you, those living with us can maintain their lifestyle and habits. As a nursing assistant/care worker, you play a key role in a team with nurses, occupational therapists, and physiotherapists who work closely together. About Myran Myran is a small unit with 22 places distributed across three floors. With us, you will find a small work team at night where it is easy to come in and become part of the group. When you work nights with us, you work both active nights and on-call nights. Working on-call means active work on the unit between 17-22, followed by sleeping on-call between 22-06 in the staff room. Then you work on the unit between 6-7 before you finish. Active night shifts are between 21-07. You must be a trained nursing assistant to work night shifts. Needs-based scheduling: We use needs-based scheduling. This means that as an employee, you have the opportunity to influence your own working hours, based on needs and preferences. We schedule for 10 weeks at a time. Group managers: You have a manager close to you who shares part of their time working in the unit. This could also be a career opportunity for you as a nursing assistant. Animals in care: We work with animals in care and we have regular visits from therapy animals. Traveling Service Technician | JBM | Östersund
Are you an adventurous service technician with a mechanical background who enjoys traveling? Take the opportunity to work on exciting hydropower projects where you can combine your technical expertise with varied and social work on-site. In this role, you'll work Monday through Thursday with longer shifts and then have Friday through Sunday completely off. Projects typically run for 9–12 months, so you need to be comfortable being away during work weeks. Initially, you'll be employed as a consultant through Lernia, with the goal of transitioning to employment with JBM if the collaboration feels right for all parties. Accommodation is provided by the project owner and typically consists of shared housing in a house or apartment. This role suits you if you enjoy community, flexibility, and working closely with others in a team. About the Position As a traveling service technician, you'll work on projects at hydropower facilities. The work is varied and practical, focusing on mechanics, service, and assembly. You'll work together with colleagues but also need to take your own initiative as you become JBM's face to the customer. Professional and clear communication with the client is therefore important. Your tasks may include: Mechanical assembly and disassembly Adjustments, repairs, and improvement work Sheetmetal work and manufacturing/adjustment of simple structures Generator replacements and other major component replacements Preventive maintenance at the facility About You Formal Qualifications We're looking for someone with experience from industry, mechanics, assembly, or other practical technical work. You're comfortable being away most of the week and see the benefits of working intensively Monday–Thursday to then be off Friday–Sunday. To succeed in this role, you need to be: Independent – you can make decisions and take responsibility for your work tasks Social and cooperative – you enjoy working closely with a team Comfortable with customer contact – you represent JBM and ensure good communication with the customer You also need: Driver's License Category B Good Swedish skills, spoken and written ESA Waterways ESA Non-Electrical Work If you're missing any of these ESA certifications, there's an opportunity to complete the training through us before project start.
