WORK DUTIES We are now looking for a personal assistant who wants to work with our client, who is just under 80 years old. He lives in a house with his wife. He is social, communicative, and lives within walking distance of train and bus. He uses a wheelchair and needs support in his daily life, and an opportunity to participate in leisure activities when he has the desire and energy. So some days are very busy and other days are quieter. It all depends on the person's condition and the client's needs during the day. WORK DUTIES Åre Municipality's IT department actively works to create a sustainable and secure IT infrastructure and contribute to the digital development of our operations. Server operations are outsourced to a partner. IT also works to assist the municipality's various operations in their IT-driven business development. Our ambition is to use new technology in a cost-effective way together with a changed way of working. We are now seeking a systems technician for our team to work with the municipality's IT systems. Primary tasks will be to work with the operation of Åre Municipality's applications and serve as a contact person between the operations partner and the various applications' vendors. Other common work duties may include participation in projects and tasks where your IT expertise is required. However, work duties may change over time. Since the team is part of the development department, we do not work statically—solutions, methods, and routines change. Åre Municipality has many IT systems and actively works with system owners, system administrators, and vendors. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you with: - Documented experience in qualified IT in large environments and very good IT infrastructure knowledge - Very good knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server - Very good knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server - Education from an appropriate university degree or other equivalent background - Good ability to express yourself pedagogically in Swedish, both verbally and in writing - We are looking for you as someone who is engaged, forward-thinking, and takes great responsibility. Åre Municipality's IT department is now seeking a network architect who wants to take full responsibility for the municipality's communications network and help develop a robust, secure, and scalable IT infrastructure. As a network architect with us, you are the technical expert in networking. You own the end-to-end architecture and have decisive influence over how our networks are designed, developed, and secured both today and tomorrow. You work in a complex environment with many operations, sites, and users, where availability, security, and scalability are business-critical. The role is both strategic and operational, with significant trust and mandate. Your assignment: You are responsible for design, management, and development of all of Åre Municipality's communications networks, including: • Architecture, design, and management of virtual and physical firewalls • Architecture, design, and management of virtual and physical switches • Design new and further develop existing networks as operations evolve • Serve as senior advisor and expert support for incidents, changes, and technical decisions • Actively contribute to development and change projects, from idea to implementation QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you as an experienced network architect with deep technical expertise and a strong security focus. You are accustomed to working in a structured, long-term manner with architecture as the foundation. • We see that you have at least 7 years of experience with qualified network work in large and complex IT environments • Deep experience with LAN, WAN, WLAN, SDWAN, APN, DNS and DNSSEC • A clear segmentation and security mindset (zero trust perspective is a merit) • Experience with environments with many sites and users • Documented experience with market-leading products such as, but not limited to, Cisco, HPE Aruba, Fortinet, and NetGate • Very good knowledge of Windows and Linux • Very good ability to communicate technical solutions in both Swedish and English • You have a documented competence level equivalent to CCNP (https://learningnetwork.cisco.com/community/certifications/ccnp) and it is a merit if you have this or another manufacturer's equivalent certification. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES The role of GIS Coordinator with us involves managing geographic data in databases as well as developing creative solutions to problems using GIS. System administration is part of the work. You work broadly across the municipality's various operations by providing support, assistance, and training in handling geographic information, and you are responsible for entering and updating various map layers. You work with the administration and management of geographic data as well as internal and external map services. You train staff in GIS. You deliver analyses, situation reports, and decision-making materials. You have primary responsibility to the Land Survey Authority regarding our Geodata Cooperation Agreement and BAL cooperation agreement. The position is placed in the Strategic Planning Department where we currently have 12 people. The department includes land and development and strategic planners. We sit together with the planning and building department, so in total we are approximately 35 people in the office. QUALIFICATIONS • We are looking for someone with higher education or university education in GIS, geography, land surveying, cartography and measurement, urban planning, or another education that can be considered equivalent by the employer. • Experience in municipal mapping and GIS operations carries high weight. • It is important that you have strong commitment and the ability to drive and participate in various projects and assignments. You are also used to taking initiative, starting activities, and achieving results. You will structure your approach and drive work forward yourself. • We are looking for someone who is used to working with complex issues, breaking down and solving complicated problems. You are service-oriented and enjoy communicating with other people, and you have a good ability to explain technical aspects in a clear and simple way. You collaborate and work well with other people, have interest, willingness, and ability to help, and make an effort to deliver solutions. • You have a good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish.
