JOB DUTIES The Staffing Unit supports the municipality's operations with temporary staff. As an employee at the Staffing Unit, you have the opportunity to influence when you want to work. You are responsible for entering your availability in our booking system, and we book you via SMS. The exact times you will work will vary and are often determined with short notice. As a cook/kitchen assistant, you work as part of a team that collaborates and helps each other with the tasks in a kitchen. As a cook, your duties include planning and preparing meals from scratch. As a kitchen assistant, your duties include preparing salad buffets, baking, serving, dishwashing, and cleaning. You should also be able to handle basic cooking. We also staff reception kitchens at preschools where you receive food, check temperatures, serve, wash dishes, and clean up. QUALIFICATIONS We are primarily looking for someone with formal training as a cook or kitchen assistant. Work experience from a kitchen is also highly valued by us. As a person, you should be easy to collaborate with and contribute to a pleasant work environment and an efficient work team. You need to be service-oriented and have a positive attitude. You must be proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written. For work in a kitchen at a preschool/school, you must provide a certificate from the police's criminal record register. Type of employment: Fixed-term employment. Duration: Start date 2026-09-14. Recruitment is ongoing based on the needs of the operations, and positions can be filled from August 10th onwards.
