Region Jämtland Härjedalen is a region to long for and grow in. We work for development and growth in Jämtland Härjedalen and offer all residents and visitors high-quality healthcare. Our vision is good health and we want to be a region that you long for and grow in. With us, you work with colleagues from many professions, with both specialized and broad expertise. Primary care in Region Jämtland Härjedalen is organizationally part of the Division of Close Care together with the Ambulance Service, Public Dental Care, Psychiatry, and Child and Youth Psychiatry. Primary care is organized into 4 close care areas, and since January 2022, primary care and ambulance services are integrated under good and close care. Each close care area is an economic unit led by a manager. Primary care is also responsible for the region's healthcare advice, youth clinic, and the close care unit Näva, which are all grant-financed. The Primary Care Area has status as a university healthcare unit and thus includes teaching, supervision, and education of medical students at Umeå University as part of the position. At our health center, we work in teams with a person-centered approach to our registered patients. Torvalla Health Center is located in Torvalla center and staffed with nursing assistants, district nurses, specialists in general medicine, social workers, psychologists, and medical secretaries. We have a Family Center with child health and maternal health clinics in the same building. Physiotherapists, rehabilitation coordinators, and occupational therapists are also at the health center. The health center also has a dietitian. Our health center is characterized by openness and helpfulness among all professions—we want you to feel involved. We focus on a sustainable work environment; you finish your day on time and should feel that you have time for both work and leisure. We work according to the methods that function for our operations, where close care focuses on the patient. You are warmly welcome to apply, and we encourage you to learn more about us: regionjh.se/torvallahc 1 position(s). WORK DUTIES In a full-time position, you will have 1,000 registered patients in your area. We are a smaller, family-like health center where Close Care is the focus. The number of registered patients is increasing and our general medicine specialist needs a colleague, and the health center needs an additional team member. Are you interested in working with us at Torvalla Health Center? You are warmly welcome! Our workplace has completely renovated facilities with new furniture. You have great opportunities to influence the work and methods as we are still in a startup phase. This offers an opportunity for new thinking and changes based on the needs of our residents. We do this together with the health center's other staff, who currently are a great team working on further developing our operations. We work with person-centered care and teamwork. The patient list of 1,000 patients per full-time position supports expanded responsibility for our most vulnerable elderly and frequent visitors. This approach also increases opportunities for home visits, allowing us to provide security to patients who need it most. Daily work includes clinic visits, home visits, medication reviews, infection clinic, and qualified phone and digital visits. Close collaboration with the municipality's home healthcare and special housing facilities is included; communication is conducted electronically via LINK. Maternity and child health center, supervision, and MLU assignments may occasionally occur. Occasional on-call shifts are part of the work. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone with specialist competence in general medicine, Swedish medical license, and experience from primary care. Your own research and research supervision are meriting but not a formal requirement for the position. You enjoy working in a team with other professions, close to patients, and want to contribute to the development of our operations. As a person, we see that you are positive, humble, and prefer to work in a solution-oriented manner. We also appreciate that you have a structured and flexible work style. You should have good initiative, an open mind, and be open to changes within the operational area. The position requires independent work, good patient interaction, good collaboration skills, and professional responsibility. Great weight will be placed on personal suitability. Employment form: Permanent employment. Duration: Permanent, start date: By agreement. In Region Jämtland Härjedalen, our work is characterized by our core values: we create value for those we serve, act with initiative, and strive to always be perceived as reliable. With us, you get the opportunity to work in an organization where these values characterize everyday life and where your work truly makes a difference. As an employee, you have access to a wide range of benefits through our benefits portal. We care about your health and offer fitness allowance or fitness hours. At Östersund Hospital, you can also train for free at the gym Zefyren and participate in instructor-led classes. Primary care is a healthcare unit within the region's healthcare administration and conducts higher education for medical degrees and research. This means that all applicants must be reviewed by the research and development responsible before potential employment. Because of this, the application must contain the following accompanying documents: • A structured CV • Certificate of medical degree from the institution(s) where the physician completed basic training. This also applies to physicians trained in another EU country or outside the EU. • Medical license certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare • Specialist competence certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare • Certificate/documentation of teaching experience and any other pedagogical qualifications. • If applicable, certificate of academic degree, such as Doctor of Medicine or Associate Professor, including date of dissertation defense and dissertation title. • Documented supervisor training • If applicable, a complete updated publication list. • Any additional documented qualifications regarding, for example, clinical knowledge/experience, clinical development work, management experience, and other qualifications the applicant wishes to highlight as meritorious for the position. Selection and appointment may be made on a rolling basis during the advertising period, so we encourage you to submit your application as soon as possible. We have an established process for recruitment and therefore politely but firmly decline contact from recruitment advertisers or other providers of recruitment services.
