We are currently looking for substitute teachers for our wonderful preschools in Östersund. As a substitute teacher with us at Pysslingen Preschools, you work with groups of children ages 1-5. The need may be for replacement during shorter absences with the possibility of longer substitute work if needed. This means an opportunity for flexible work where your availability determines your schedule. Your work tasks include conducting activities both indoors and extensively outdoors, as well as supporting regular educators with practical tasks. If you are hired as a substitute teacher, you must be able to step in as a replacement on short notice when regular staff are absent. This requires that you are responsible and have a great ability to be flexible, as the work involves quickly adapting to new environments. You have good knowledge of the Swedish language and should find it easy to both collaborate and work independently within a team, as well as have the ability to contribute to a functioning operation together with your colleagues. We Are Looking for You If You Have a high school diploma or other education that the employer considers equivalent Have good collaboration skills Believe that every interaction is meaningful Are curious and co-researching Want to learn together with the children Are attentive and respectful Keep the task and the children in focus It is advantageous if you have a child care educator certification and/or previous experience working in a preschool.
