Site Manager for Peab – Östersund Do you appreciate the feeling of running your own business within a larger organization? Peab is now looking for an experienced site manager for operations within Peab Bygg Södra Norrland in Östersund. About the role As a site manager, you are responsible for planning, leading, and coordinating production from start to final inspection. You have overall responsibility for schedule, quality, economics, personnel, environment, and work environment. You report to the project manager. Together with your team and in close collaboration with customers and subcontractors, you ensure that projects are executed efficiently, profitably, and with high quality. You lead and allocate work and are responsible for ensuring that schedule, budget, work environment, environment, and safety are maintained. An important part of the role is also to create a close and trusting dialogue with the customer. Your work tasks include, among other things: · Building and developing long-term relationships with customers, suppliers, and partners. · Ensuring adequate resources within planning, procurement, and production. · Representing the project in customer meetings and other external forums. · Being responsible for the project's overall scheduling and execution. · Monitoring finances and ensuring the project's profitability. · Leading and developing the project organization. · Being responsible for quality, environment, and work environment efforts. · Ensuring that documentation and handover are completed according to contract. · Contributing to experience feedback and business development. To support you, you will have skilled foremen and skilled workers as well as support functions including QA, procurement, project accounting, HR, and installation coordination. Within the framework of the project and Peab's guidelines, you have great opportunities to shape your organization, create efficient working methods, and find solutions that move the project forward. About you Peab currently has a large and complex project in Östersund that needs to be strengthened, and is therefore looking for someone with documented experience leading major construction projects as a site manager. This could include residential projects, industrial projects, schools, preschools, or other public and commercial properties, preferably with a project value of approximately 200 million kronor and above. Experience working on security-classified projects is a merit. You likely have a higher education degree in construction or equivalent competence acquired through practical experience. We would like to see that you have at least five years of experience as a site manager and feel comfortable with the entire construction process from planning and production to accounting, follow-up, and handover. As a person, you are a confident and clear leader who values collaboration and builds good relationships. You can also provide concrete examples of experiences and lessons learned from projects you have previously managed. You are comfortable with digital tools, express yourself well in Swedish and English both spoken and written, and have a Class B driving license.
