We are now recruiting 4 social workers for the Children and Family Unit. Our unit is committed to ensuring that children and young people have good conditions for growing up. We work with children and young people aged 0-18 years as well as their parents and networks. It is important and rewarding work, but far from simple. With us, you will have a work day with great variety, both in assignments and in the activities and people you meet. Your New Job As a social worker at the Children and Family Unit, you will work investigating children's needs and parents' capabilities based on reports of concern and applications. Based on your investigations, you will make assessments and decisions about interventions and be responsible for follow-ups of these interventions. We work according to SoL and LVU. All work is built on close collaboration with other authorities and partners. The work tasks are investigative in nature, with documentation and communication as central parts of the work. We work according to BBIC and Signs of Safety. The work involves conducting home visits with residents, and may also involve travel throughout the country. The work is interesting, challenging, and multifaceted and suits you if you are stimulated by complex situations and challenges that require problem-solving and creativity. When you join us, you will receive introduction and support to grow into your role. We provide collegial support, close leadership, weekly case discussions, and external supervision. All social workers receive further training in the national Professional Development Program. We work in an activity-based office environment with different zones; there is some opportunity for remote work. Common Work Tasks Investigate, assess, and make decisions in cases Document cases Support and help people in critical and challenging situations Make urgent assessments of incoming cases Provide advisory conversations Collaborate with other authorities and partners Your Expertise Requirements You have a degree in social work (socionomexamen). You have experience with official duties within child and youth social services. You have good computer skills. You have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. Meritorious Training and experience working according to Signs of Safety. Knowledge and experience working with the Viva management system. You have a driver's license.
