The position is located at the Buildings Department, which is part of the university administration. The university administration serves as the support and service function for university leadership and core activities in research and education. International Coordinator
The Department of International Mobility is a department within Uppsala University's central administration. The department's focus is to actively contribute to internationalization efforts at Uppsala University. Through daily and close contact with the university's teachers, researchers, and students, as well as with collaboration partners around the world, conditions are created for strategic and in-depth international collaborations. We are now seeking an engaged and responsible coordinator for the International Mobility Support Unit who wants to contribute to the internationalization work at Uppsala University with a particular focus on student exchange programs. Job Responsibilities: As an International Coordinator, you are responsible for managing university-wide student exchange programs with Uppsala University's collaboration partners around the world. The position's main focus is mobility coordination for incoming and outgoing exchange students. This involves ongoing communication with and selection of exchange students as well as contact with foreign universities that have student exchange agreements with Uppsala University. The day-to-day work takes place primarily in the MoveON database. The position includes some representation of the department during various international visits as well as certain outreach activities such as giving presentations and participating in fairs and visits, etc. Qualification Requirements: Academic degree at least at the bachelor's level or equivalent. At least two (2) years of documented current experience in qualified administrative work with independent responsibility for cases, preferably in the higher education sector or another government agency. Experience working with CRM systems related to student mobility (e.g., MoveON, Mobility-Online, or SoleMove) and in administration systems such as Ladok, W3D3, Akka, or Easit. Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Very good ability to express yourself orally and in writing in Swedish and English, as well as good communication skills to adapt messages to different target audiences in daily work. Ability to express yourself well orally and in writing in at least one additional language relevant to the department (e.g., German, French, or Spanish) Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability. You are good at collaboration and often take initiative in collaborations. You have a service-oriented mindset and contribute to maintaining both good individual interactions and overall quality. You work in a structured manner and deliver on time with high quality.
