Your Assignment
As a district nurse at our adult clinic, you will have the opportunity to work with varied clinical tasks. The position includes typical district nurse responsibilities such as teamwork, independent patient consultations, digital services, and telephone advice.
In your role as a district nurse with us, you will work in close collaboration with all professions at the health center. In addition to regular staff, we have several psychologists and social workers, physiotherapists, and a dietitian. We place the patient at the center and we appreciate your interest in preventive health work. We offer video visits and make home visits as needed. Professional development is important to us, and we invest in good mentoring for our future colleagues.
Your Qualifications
We are seeking a registered nurse with specialist training as a district nurse.
We are looking for someone who is positive and solution-oriented in their work. You have good collaborative skills, while also having experience and drive to work independently. You are a good communicator in Swedish, both verbally and in writing. As a person, you are skilled at planning, organizing, and prioritizing your work efficiently, and to succeed in this role you must be flexible in your approach. You see both the challenge and the joy in following your patients over time. We also place great importance on personal suitability for the position.
Our Organization
Gottsunda Health Center is located in excellent facilities in Gottsunda Center in the southwestern part of Uppsala. We have approximately 14,000 registered patients and about 60 employees. Our operations are broad, with all professional areas within the health center's mission represented, including child health services (BVC), maternity services (MVC), and youth clinics. The BVC operation is one of Uppsala's largest with approximately 1,550 enrolled children. Gottsunda BVC is part of a Family Center located here, which we view positively for the children, families, and staff. What distinguishes us is a good workplace culture based on diversity and a special commitment to vulnerable members of society. Many of our patients come from other countries and cultures, which makes our work here especially varied and interesting.
The operation is part of the Close Care and Health administration in Region Uppsala. We want you to thrive and develop with us.
