Our Operations
At Neurology Unit 85D, you will meet patients with a wide variety of neurological diagnoses – from acute illnesses to planned treatments. Here we work with highly specialized care in, among other things, epilepsy, Parkinson's disease, motor neuron disease (MND) and DBS (deep brain stimulation).
With us, you get a workday that is educational, varied and meaningful. Patient groups requiring minor neurosurgical procedures are also cared for on the unit as part of their treatment. We also have two rooms for 24-hour EEG monitoring for patients being investigated for or have epilepsy. A large part of our planned care consists of regional patients from all over Sweden.
We place great emphasis on skills development and offer, among other things, weekly lectures and continuing education opportunities. At the same time, we actively work to create a good and sustainable work environment where we support each other and have fun at work.
