We are now seeking an engaged admissions officer for our unit of study administration and mobility at campus Ultuna. About the Job As an admissions officer, you will primarily conduct eligibility assessments of applicants with both foreign and Swedish qualifications. Beyond that, the duties of an admissions officer at SLU include providing information about eligibility and selection rules, writing statements to appeal committees, handling matters such as tuition fees, scholarships and credit transfers, compiling and processing statistics, and contributing to the development of materials for information purposes. The work also involves staffing phone hours and responding to emails, and maintaining continuous contact with students, departments, and faculty offices. Work tasks may change over time as we are a small organization with many assignments. Travel between SLU's locations occurs. Your Background Requirement Profile: We are looking for you who have: - Experience in handling admissions matters in higher education or at a university. - An academic degree, at minimum at bachelor's level. - Good knowledge of the systems NyA and Ladok. - Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel, and Outlook. - Excellent knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written. We are responsible for administrative and support activities that primarily concern student and education matters. Most of our employees are located at campus Ultuna, but the department also has staff at SLU's locations in Alnarp, Umeå, and Skara. We are 15 people in the unit for study administration and mobility, and we work primarily with admissions, tuition fees, scholarships, mobility, credit transfer, and graduation.
