Education Administrator

At the office for the Medicine and Pharmacy subject area, we provide support and services to students, management, researchers, teachers, technical and administrative staff, and others working in the Medicine and Pharmacy subject area. We also provide support and services to all committees in the subject area. The subject area office is part of the university administration, but receives the majority of its mandate through the subject area board and the subject area vice-rector. The subject area office has approximately 70 employees and is divided into five units. For the Education Support unit, we need to hire an Education Administrator on a fixed-term basis. The unit consists of 15 people and our mission is to provide administrative support and services to committees, pro-deans, chairpersons, program directors and institutions regarding education at undergraduate, advanced and doctoral levels as well as internationalization of education. We work on-site in modern facilities with dedicated workstations in Segerstedthuset in central Uppsala. Duties As an Education Administrator, you will handle program-specific education matters within the Medical and/or Pharmaceutical Faculty. Core duties include continuously scheduling meetings, drafting convocations, preparing decision-making materials, managing minutes and following up on decisions and matters. You will work with education and course plans in the university's study administration system and perform program-related education administration. Other duties include budget work, financial monitoring of education programs, contract administration, investigations and method and quality issues.
