Activity Developer for Uppsala 4H
Do you want to help shape the future of children and young people while working closely with animals? We are now looking for one or more Activity Developers for Uppsala 4H to be placed at one of our 4H farms, working to plan and implement activities for children and young people!

Our Organization
4H is an organization run by young people for young people, with the vision that all children and young people develop into engaged, well-being and responsible individuals with respect for the world around them. We are a non-profit children's and youth organization in constant change, which is politically and religiously independent.
Uppsala Region's 4H currently consists of an office and three open farm visitor centers: Gränby, Sävja and Årsta. In the coming years, we will start a fourth 4H farm in collaboration with Uppsala Municipality. We also have several 4H clubs in different locations in Uppsala Region, run by children and young people with their own boards. 4H is an arena where young people take their place in society; learn about association democracy and directly influence their own leisure time.
Our target group is primarily children and young people aged 6–25 years, but everyone is welcome in 4H.
Job Description
As an Activity Developer with focus on children and animals, you will have an overarching mission; to develop and create conditions for our children's and youth activities. It is a varied assignment where no two days are the same. You will daily meet visitors and be a good representative for 4H. To thrive with us, you and your work should be characterized by 4H's vision and spirit.
The assignment consists of, for example:
Work with the daily care of the farm and animals, which can be physically demanding
Plan, administer and implement activities
Work to develop and implement activities for children and young people in an inclusive, accessible and welcoming way
Create conditions for developing club activities for children and young people on the farms
Collaborate with other employees within Uppsala 4H to carry out your assignment
We are now looking for you who want to create development for children and young people!
To fit into this role, we see that you have the following qualifications:
High school education in animal care, farm animals or horses, or equivalent experience
Good experience with horses
Experience working with children and young people
Experience from a non-profit organization, as an employee or volunteer
Good computer skills and expresses yourself well in speech and writing
Language skills, fluent in Swedish/English, preferably also other languages
Driver's license category B and access to your own car

Other Information
The position is a permanent employment that begins with a 6-month trial period placed at Årsta 4H farm.
During the recruitment period, additional positions may become available with placement in Uppsala at one of our 3 4H farms: Gränby, Sävja or Årsta.
Evening and weekend work occurs and is a prerequisite for carrying out the assignment
Full-time corresponds to 37.5 h per week
4H in Uppsala has a collective agreement
