Subject Description The subject encompasses how housing and management of dairy cattle affect animal health, welfare and production, as well as the sustainability of milk production. The subject includes the interaction between animals, environment, technology and people at farm and system level. Duties The incumbent shall be responsible for developing research and teaching within the subject's focus area in collaboration with other researchers at the faculty and university. The incumbent shall also contribute to pedagogical development within the subject. Research can be based on both controlled experiments and production data from commercial farms, survey studies or modeling.
