Then we want you on our team. Description At Uppsala Child Center and Primary Care Clinic, we believe in integrated care. We are proud to combine our popular pediatric specialist clinic and child health clinic with a well-functioning primary care clinic and laboratory for the whole family. Our operations are growing and we are now seeking an engaged and driven specialist in pediatrics and adolescent medicine who wants to develop with us and provide Uppsala's children with the very best care. Be a trusted sounding board and medical support for our pediatric nurses and others. Supervisor junior doctors (ST-läkare) in General Medicine. Contribute your ideas on how we can develop the clinic and become even better. Opportunity exists for greater medical responsibility, authority, and improvement/change work locally and within Region Uppsala. Qualifications Who are you? We are looking for you – a confident pediatrician who enjoys the dynamics of outpatient care. We place great emphasis on personal qualities. You have a warm, pedagogical, and attentive manner – you understand that good cooperation with parents is required to help the child in the best way. You are comfortable with both independent work and teamwork. Previous outpatient care experience is a merit. What We Offer You Balance in life: Working hours during daytime on weekdays (no late evenings, nights, or weekends). A warm work environment: We are a close-knit, wonderful group with short decision-making processes where your voice matters. Experienced pediatrician colleagues: Engaged and experienced pediatrician colleagues and pediatric nurses. Good terms: Competitive salary, collective agreement, occupational pension, continuing education, wellness allowance, and other benefits. Uppsala as your base: Easy commuting and a central, pleasant location in the city. Terms The position is a permanent employment at 50-75% (or more if that suits you/your life puzzle better). Region Uppsala war-places all permanent employees based on the needs of total defense. For the individual employee, this entails no obligations in peacetime but is solely a planning measure. Before a decision on employment, screening of suspicion and burden registers takes place for all job seekers who in the sought position may work within psychiatric care, rehabilitation, care of children and young people, or compulsory care of substance abusers—areas covered by optional register extracts. This applies to all who will work patient-facing, even if the current tasks are not intended to primarily involve work with the aforementioned patient groups. This recruitment is conducted entirely by Region Uppsala, and we decline telephone calls from recruitment companies and advertising sales representatives.
