Adecco is now recruiting a Project Controls Lead for an exciting assignment with Galderma in Uppsala. In this role, you will be a key person within the Capital Portfolio Delivery team and will be responsible for ensuring effective project and program management through professional planning, monitoring, and cost control.
About the Role
As Project Controls Lead, you will support project and program managers in developing comprehensive schedules and budgets for major investment initiatives. You will ensure that projects are executed according to best practices in project planning and contribute to long-term strategic capital planning.
The role involves close collaboration with project managers, finance functions, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure deliverables are on schedule, on budget, and meet established objectives.
Your Main Responsibilities
Own overall project and program schedules and cost tracking.
Develop and maintain standards for scheduling and cost control according to industry best practices.
Create, implement, and maintain integrated project and program schedules.
Plan project resources and identify resource conflicts, overloads, and critical activities.
Work with Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and detailed activity planning.
Actively participate in project meetings and analyze progress to identify risks and recovery opportunities.
Prepare KPIs, project metrics, and management reports.
Deliver status updates and 4-week forecasts to project teams and management.
Collaborate with finance and cost control functions on budget, forecasts, and cash flow.
Support project managers in tracking scope, schedule, budget, resources, and risks.
Ensure that project plans, budgets, and documentation are current and properly managed.
Contribute to the development and maintenance of the company's strategic investment planning.
This is a consulting assignment with Adecco. Start immediately; the assignment is expected to run through March 31, 2027, with potential for extension.
We are Looking for You With
University degree in engineering, technical fields, pharmacy, or equivalent.
Fluent knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
At least 5 years of experience with project planning and scheduling using tools such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or equivalent.
At least 2 years of experience working with Primavera P6.
Experience working closely with project managers, program managers, and contractors in international environments.
Solid understanding of project management, resource planning, and budget tracking.
Experience with Office 365 and Teams.
Knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP or M3 is a plus.
Experience from the pharmaceutical industry or other regulated activities is an advantage.
