Job Description The Fire & Rescue business area is embarking on a major growth journey, where Securitas has ambitious goals and clear visions for the path forward. We are now looking for a new team member in the Uppland region who wants to work to take the delivery of our fire safety work to a new level. As a fire protection technician, you will work in a customer-focused role, responsible for servicing and reviewing existing products within the fire safety sector, and ensuring that inspections are carried out according to contracts and applicable regulations. The role is varied with substantial hands-on work, such as servicing fire extinguishers and fire hydrants, as well as other technical tasks such as new installations and repairs. In this role, you will also conduct training as an instructor in areas such as CPR and basic fire safety. The position is based at the Securitas office in Uppsala and you will work within the Uppland service area. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 08:00-17:00. Work outside regular hours may also occur. You will, for example: Present Securitas services and create opportunities for new and expanded business through operational improvements in customers' fire safety work Perform technical maintenance and risk assessments of customers' fire protection systems Install relevant products Conduct monthly and quarterly tests of fire alarms Place orders for products and services from our subcontractors Provide advisory services/assessments to customers Assist customers with SBA inspections (self-inspections) Create and document records in the customer's web tool for SBA (MPS) This role suits you if you enjoy building new relationships and developing existing ones to ultimately improve our service delivery to customers. Requirements This position requires Secondary education with passing grades in Swedish. Class B driver's license. Swedish citizenship. We consider it highly meritorious if you have Educational background or work experience in fire safety. Experience as an instructor in first aid and/or fire safety. Have a strong interest in technology and easily understand instructions. Have good communication skills and enjoy collaborating with others.
