Tranås Municipality is implementing a focused, cross-departmental initiative for the municipality's young people, with the overarching goal of creating a safe environment for children to grow up in. Through the initiative Targeted School Attendance Efforts, new working methods are being developed where health promotion and preventive work through collaboration are the cornerstones. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES You will help continue developing working methods where your primary task will be to work with young people's motivation toward school and leisure activities. The work is mainly conducted at elementary and middle school levels with children in grades F-5. The work will take place at both group and individual levels, working to create meaningful school and leisure experiences for the children. At the group level, this involves group activities and information sessions for students at school, both during and after school hours. During school hours, you will work at the individual level with specific children to increase their motivation and interest in school by offering them activities outside of the school's regular program, where the child gets an opportunity to shine. In addition to working with children, the role involves significant contact with guardians. The role includes participating in school-wide projects and working compensatorily, serving as a bridge between children/guardians and various actors within the municipality and leisure sector. DUTIES As operations chief, you will have overall responsibility for fire prevention and rescue services in Tranås Municipality.
