Job Description Do you want to help create vital change for vulnerable people? Then the position of Treatment Secretary at SiS is a meaningful challenge! You will be part of the team on our intake and needs assessment unit together with another treatment secretary, a unit manager, and a group leader. Conducting needs assessments will therefore be your main responsibility, focusing on early identification of youth's needs and providing recommendations for continued interventions to social services. However, all treatment secretaries work in teams and help each other based on workload and tasks on other units within the treatment secretary's areas of responsibility. Organizationally, you will belong to an institution-wide team with five treatment secretaries, three psychologists, two nurses, and a quality coordinator. In the fall of 2026, the team will also be expanded with three family therapists. The team is led by the institution's quality director. Your main responsibility is to coordinate the treatment of youth at the institution. You will be responsible for coordinating the work of treatment teams and, together with unit management, ensure that the intentions of the treatment plan are followed and monitored in daily operations, as well as maintain contact with social services and other important parties around the youth. Treatment secretaries lead and convene treatment teams, develop treatment plans, and are responsible for documenting implemented treatment interventions and supporting treatment staff in daily work. The treatment secretary plays an important role in ensuring that clients receive quality, individually adapted interventions based on their circumstances and needs, and works closely with other professionals at the institution such as treatment staff, nurses, educators, and psychologists. A central task in treatment teams is working with risk and needs assessments to identify youth's risk and protective factors and direct treatment toward the right areas. The treatment secretary has primary responsibility for risk and needs assessment work together with the institution's psychologists. The treatment secretary also contributes to the development of the institution's procedures in accordance with the agency's guidelines regarding treatment and investigation. Stigby has an integrated care pathway where young people are gradually moved toward greater personal responsibility in line with their motivation and individual abilities. Work in the open unit focuses on treatment in more open settings, where you will work with young people who have lived in institutional care for an extended period and are assessed as ready to manage housing in more open settings with greater independence. Activities take place mainly outside the unit and are based on establishing young people in pro-social environments.
