About the Position We are now seeking ambassadors who want to be Ydre Municipality's face to the world. Your most important task is to create positive interactions and generate interest in Ydre as an attractive place to live, reside, and vacation. Your main responsibilities: Inform and guide: Answer questions and share what it's like to live, work, and operate in Ydre Municipality. Provide top-class service: Meet visitors with warm and professional hospitality. Market the municipality: Actively inspire and highlight all of Ydre's advantages. Network: Build relationships and have engaging conversations with potential new residents, visitors, and local stakeholders. This is a hourly position where work primarily takes place on evenings and weekends in connection with various events. Examples of events where the municipality plans to participate include markets, fairs, and arrangements at Kulturcentrum. Before your first shift, you will receive a thorough introduction. We go through how the municipality operates, where you refer visitors who want more information, and provide you with all the tools you need to feel confident in your assignment. This means that in certain periods it is intensive, while at other times there are longer intervals between assignments. The assignments are primarily on evenings and weekends when most events take place. In these cases, in addition to hourly wages, compensation for unsociable hours is provided according to the applicable collective agreement. Substitute Cook (Hourly)

Do you believe, as we do, that students perform best with good and nutritious food? We can offer you a meaningful, challenging, and enjoyable job as a substitute cook in Ydre Municipality. We are interested in contacting people who can work as substitutes in the large kitchen when needed and with short notice. About the work The municipality has three cooking kitchens, and depending on where you work, you prepare meals for preschools, schools, and/or elderly care. The kitchen at Solängen service house also packages meal boxes for home care meal distribution. The kitchens in the municipality have work rotation, which may include sharing responsibility for ordering and planning work. You will take turns with your colleagues in the kitchen preparing lunch for, for example, elderly care, school, or preschool. You will have support in your work through the food data program Mashie, where you retrieve current recipes, interpret and calculate based on the current dish, and then carry out the preparation. Work as a cook involves tasks such as cooking, packaging, cleaning, dishwashing, as well as delivery inspection and unpacking of goods. The work also involves following the procedures and policies that apply to the kitchen, such as self-inspection and HACCP. Qualifications For this position, you need either experience from work in large-scale catering/restaurant or are trained as a cook. You must have knowledge of and be able to prepare common special diets and have knowledge of HACCP. You are at least 18 years old and have good teamwork skills and flexibility, but can also take your own initiative and work independently. You collaborate with colleagues, nurses, rehabilitation staff, and family members and contribute to a safe and pleasant environment as well as to the individual's social and physical activities.
