About the Position We are now seeking ambassadors who want to be Ydre Municipality's face to the world. Your most important task is to create positive interactions and generate interest in Ydre as an attractive place to live, reside, and vacation. Your main responsibilities: Inform and guide: Answer questions and share what it's like to live, work, and operate in Ydre Municipality. Provide top-class service: Meet visitors with warm and professional hospitality. Market the municipality: Actively inspire and highlight all of Ydre's advantages. Network: Build relationships and have engaging conversations with potential new residents, visitors, and local stakeholders. This is a hourly position where work primarily takes place on evenings and weekends in connection with various events. Examples of events where the municipality plans to participate include markets, fairs, and arrangements at Kulturcentrum. Before your first shift, you will receive a thorough introduction. We go through how the municipality operates, where you refer visitors who want more information, and provide you with all the tools you need to feel confident in your assignment. Your Profile We are looking for someone who genuinely cares about Ydre and your home region. You are confident, social, and have a natural ability to connect with people. To thrive and succeed in this role, we hope you have strong local engagement, good knowledge of the municipality, and a desire to proudly share information about it. You are a communicative and attentive person who loves providing service, spreading positive energy, and thrives in environments where there is plenty happening. More Information About the Position and Application These positions are hourly and assignment-based. This means that in certain periods it is intensive, while at other times there are longer intervals between assignments. The assignments are primarily on evenings and weekends when most events take place. In these cases, in addition to hourly wages, compensation for unsociable hours is provided according to the applicable collective agreement.
