For several years we have developed work with Early Coordinated Interventions (TSI) and close cooperation between social services, schools, preschools, leisure activities, police, and healthcare. We have a well-developed home visiting program for the youngest children. Social workers from the unit are an integrated part of the municipality's school social teams at all primary schools and also participate in preschool social teams. We also work through SSPF to coordinate support measures for children and young people in need of early and preventive interventions. Through this work, we meet children and families early and create conditions for timely support. 1 position(s). JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As unit manager for the Children and Youth Unit, Investigation, you have personnel, budget, and operational responsibility for a reception function and two investigator groups. The unit currently consists of 25 employees, of which three team leaders lead and distribute the work in daily operations. Within the reception function, there is a special assignment linked to the municipality's school and preschool social teams, where social services work together with the children and education department to provide early support to children and families. Together with your employees, you ensure that authority exercise is conducted with legal certainty, good quality, and in accordance with current legislation. You have a central role in the municipality's continued transition to the new social services act and are responsible for further developing work with Early Coordinated Interventions. The assignment includes both traditional authority exercise and well-established preventive work in close cooperation with schools, preschools, and other important actors around children and young people. You lead the development of operations, work methods, and cooperation with the best interests of the child and early interventions in focus. You are responsible for goal and operational management and support and inspire employees to achieve set goals with good quality and resource efficiency. You participate in management groups at both department and unit levels, represent the board internally and externally, and present cases in the social board's individual committee and, if necessary, in administrative court.
