We are now looking for a Production Technician For complex electromechanical products and cable harnesses About the job As a production technician, you are the link between sales and production. We believe in you being involved early in the process, from quotation to closed deal. You will manage and follow your quotes and projects into production to ensure that the correct manufacturing methods are applied with a focus on continuously improving and eliminating waste. Your main responsibilities will include: - Quote preparation (new and existing projects) - Customer contact within current projects - Selection of production methods for new and existing products - Item preparation and creation of production documentation and control documents - Initiate investments and propose procurement of production equipment - Develop alternatives for components or alternative production solutions as needed - Provide technical support to assembly personnel in assembly work and train employees in new methods and procedures Qualifications You have a technical education at upper secondary/higher education level and it is an advantage if you have experience working with LEAN concepts. As a person, you are communicative, pedagogical, flexible, and driven as the work involves considerable collaboration with multiple functions within the company.
