Your responsibilities As an orthopedic technologist, you will receive and assist children and young adults with orthopedic devices. You will work with a diverse range of devices, with the greatest focus on custom-made orthoses. We work closely with treatment teams and, thanks to our large catchment area, have extensive experience with orthoses for walking, standing, sitting, and improved hand function. When prescribing gait orthoses, we use a systematic approach supported by our gait analysis system with two cameras and a force plate. We also have extensive experience with treatment orthoses. You will have the opportunity to learn about orthoses across the entire orthopedic technology field and work closely with orthopedic physicians, physical therapists, and occupational therapists. Who we are looking for We are looking for someone with training as an orthopedic technologist. It is an advantage if you have clinical experience as an orthopedic technologist, but it is not required. As a person, we appreciate if you are service-oriented, communicative, and flexible.
