Health Informatician at KS Precision Medicine We are seeking an independent consultant as a health informatician at Karolinska University Hospital. You will work on technical development within medical diagnostic workflows (particularly genetic diagnostics) and manage lab samples, orders, and genomic data. Quick Facts About the Assignment Period: August 17, 2026 – December 31, 2026 (with opportunity for extension until June 2027). Scope: 100% (Full-time). Location: Stockholm / Partially remote (up to 50%). Our markup: 50 kr/h. Application Deadline: July 29, 2026. Language: CV must be in Swedish. What You Will Do Further develop systems for structured management of lab samples, reports, and genomic data. Focus on data quality, information flows, and integrations between different systems. Independently drive and coordinate work at a high level. Collaborate with solution architects, developers, and operations to create smart information models. Requirements (Must-haves) To be considered for this role, you must have proficiency level 4 and: Experience: At least 5 years of experience as a health informatician, information architect, or similar role within healthcare. HL7 FHIR: At least 3 years of experience with profiling, information modeling, and managing FHIR servers. You should have used tools such as FHIR Shorthand (FSH), SUSHI, HL7 IG Publisher, and VS Code. Data Flows & Regulations: At least 3 years of experience with information exchange within healthcare and solid knowledge of laws regarding data and information security. Language: Excellent Swedish in both speech and writing. Desired Qualifications (Nice-to-haves) It is a significant plus if you have experience with: Information modeling within diagnostics.
