Project Description DISASTER-CARE is Sweden's first national research school in disaster medicine – an area of growing importance in today's society, characterized by global crises and a changed international security situation. The initiative is financed by the Swedish Research Council. The research school is coordinated by the University of Gothenburg and conducted in close collaboration between several of Sweden's leading institutions in disaster medicine. It is aimed at you who, after completing your education, will work as a teacher in health and medical education with a focus on disaster medicine and crisis preparedness. As a PhD student in DISASTER-CARE, you will be part of an interdisciplinary research environment where medicine, nursing science, technology, and social sciences meet.
