About the role:
As a testing engineer, you either work on-site at the customer's location performing the work, or you take samples for analysis in one of Kiwa's laboratories. You work with recurring inspections or preventive maintenance to measure the status and health of objects and their critical components and equipment. The work includes performing visual inspections, ultrasonic testing, X-ray testing, and leak testing. By using these different testing methods, we can test and inspect objects for things we cannot see with the naked eye and help customers identify damage early to prevent potential costly failures. During a work week, you will come into contact with several different types of objects such as pressure vessels, cisterns, piping systems, and turbines.
For this role, we see that you already work as a testing engineer and are familiar with one or more of the different testing methods. The position is based in Örebro where daily travel and travel with overnight stays occur.
Do you have what it takes?
You have previously worked as a testing engineer and feel confident in the work. To thrive in the role, we see that you are communicative and responsible, with a strong interest in technology and advanced methods. We expect that you are flexible and that through experience from similar roles you are accustomed to the working methods and procedures within testing.
You have:
Technical secondary education or engineering degree or equivalent
An interest in technology and people
Driver's license (category B)
Good knowledge of Swedish and English both spoken and written
