The position is a temporary or permanent employment at 100% in the Surgical Clinic's operating department, University Hospital Örebro.
Responsibilities
Typical duties of an operating room nurse in a surgical department. Weekend and evening work as well as some on-call duty are included.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with specialist education in operating room nursing and preferably with previous experience in orthopedics/hand surgery. As a person, you contribute with great commitment and want to participate in the development of an operation in transition. We would like to see that you view changes positively and as an advantage, promote good collaboration, are stimulated by challenges, and want to work actively for collaboration within and between our operating departments. The ability to work flexibly and independently, take own initiative and responsibility within the operating room nurse's area of expertise is important. The same applies to collaboration skills and personal suitability since you will work in an interprofessional team.

About the Operations
The surgery operations area has close collaboration between the county's three hospitals. The area has a county assignment for acute and planned surgical care and we also provide some highly specialized care for out-of-county patients. There are 350 employees within various units such as clinic, care ward, operating room and secretariat. Planned care is increasingly located in Karlskoga and Lindesberg and similarly tumor and trauma operations are located in Örebro. Within the operations area, active development work is conducted with the patient in focus throughout the entire care process.
