Fiber Technician

Rydma is a small company currently in an expansion phase. We are a company that performs most fiber & data work throughout Central Sweden. In the role of fiber technician, you will work in a varied environment, both indoors and outdoors at companies as well as for private individuals. Work at other locations may also occur. You will be involved in planning your fieldwork. Your work tasks will include: Installation, splicing, and termination of optical fiber and data Troubleshooting and problem-solving Blowing of optical fiber cables Responsibility for documentation Qualifications for the Position Previous experience with fiber work or similar Completed upper secondary education, preferably with a technical focus Fluency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written Class B driver's license Not a requirement, but advantageous if you fulfill any of the following: Previous experience with blowing optical fiber cables Previous experience working with measuring/troubleshooting instruments Fiber certification As a person, you are driven and solution-oriented. You should enjoy taking your own initiative and are not afraid to move your own work forward. You are flexible in your approach, and since you will be working with both companies and private individuals, it is important that you are comfortable with customer interaction. Other Information About the Position The position is full-time until further notice. Start date by agreement, and the placement location is Örebro.
