The Adapted Primary School area is looking for you – a special education teacher focused on daily teaching work with our students in grades 1-6. 1 position(s). WORK TASKS As a special education teacher at the adapted primary school, Långsätter, you will plan, implement, and drive instruction forward with our students. You lead daily instruction with support from teaching assistants in the classroom. This also means you have a leading role in the classroom with teaching assistants, working together to create quality pedagogical work. You work systematically and develop your instruction and learning environments, which contributes to raising the quality of instruction for our students. Your role also includes participating in collaborative learning and other pedagogical forums. Our students study both subjects and subject areas and are at different developmental levels. Students attend smaller classes and are divided into smaller groups during certain lessons. Instruction may need to be individualised, but always with the goal of reaching the entire group through differentiated instruction within the timeframe. The work team includes teachers and other teaching assistants with whom you collaborate closely. The special education teacher in the classroom has the task of coordinating and leading the teaching assistants assigned to the group/class.
