JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As an occupational therapist specializing in personal assistance, you work closely with individuals, personal assistants, and other professional practitioners. You have an important role in creating conditions for participation, independence, and a functioning daily life based on each person's individual needs.
It is a varied and independent job that includes:
Assessment of activity capacity and support needs.
• Testing and follow-up of assistive devices.
• Adaptation of environment and daily activities.
• Training and instruction of personal assistants.
• Support regarding work methods, transfers, and ergonomics.
• Collaboration with physical therapists, nurses, physicians, and other stakeholders.
• Documentation and follow-up according to current guidelines.
This is independent work that requires good clinical assessment skills and the ability to collaborate. Work is scheduled during daytime on weekdays, with no evenings or weekends.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone who:
• is a licensed occupational therapist
• has a Category B driver's license
It is advantageous if you have previous experience in disability support services or municipal health and medical care.
