About the Position QT Center, Quench Technology Center, is a department within the SSAB Special Steels division, with core operations around production facilities that produce advanced steel. The position will primarily be directed toward existing and future production facilities in Oxelösund (Sweden) and Mobile (USA). Your Primary Areas of Responsibility Design complex production machinery and equipment. Plan and organize orders for necessary materials, services, and contractors. Actively participate in building and/or modifying facilities with the goal of improving unit performance and availability in the safest possible manner. Participate in the department's/section's safety work. Involved in commissioning machinery and facilities. About You You have a strong technical background with at least 5 years of experience in mechanical design, design, and calculation of production systems.
