The Education Administration is seeking a facilities manager for Peterslundsskolan and Campus. The position includes approximately 10% work at various preschools in the municipality. Peterslundsskolan is an F-6 school with an adapted F-6 school grades 1-9. Peterslundsskolan has an integrated after-school program and is located in a residential area on the outskirts of Oxelösund. The school has over 400 students. The school is surrounded by a large schoolyard with asphalt areas, sports fields and a multipurpose court, as well as proximity to forest areas. The school is built on one level and has 14 classrooms with attached study halls and common facilities such as woodworking shops, an open library in a shared space, and a gym. The after-school program is integrated into the school premises with different units located adjacent to the classrooms. Adjacent to the main building is a pavilion where three of the school's adapted classes are taught. Campus is a school for adults with 500 students currently studying either contract-based education, Swedish for immigrants, special education for adults, or municipal adult education. At the upper secondary level, we offer vocational training in welding, construction, commerce and administration, and health and care. 1 position(s). DUTIES As a facilities manager, you will maintain the school's facilities, equipment, and surrounding areas. You will manage storage and signage at the school. Workplace safety and fire protection, including fire safety plans, are part of your responsibilities. The facilities manager is responsible for maintaining good contact with the property owner, purchasing equipment, and coordinating with other parties the school works with regarding facilities and equipment. Reporting malfunctions to IT/Nyköping for maintenance of technical equipment such as copy machines, smartboards, and computers. The position also includes transportation, repairs, and support and assistance to staff and students at the school. You are responsible for receiving deliveries and distributing them to different parts of the school. You are responsible for waste management, source sorting, and placement of waste containers at the school. The facilities manager has close contact with students and should be interested in working with students of all ages (from age 6 to adults). The work requires close collaboration with other facilities managers in the municipality, school teachers, and other staff. It is important that you contribute to a good work environment for staff. QUALIFICATIONS • You should have competence in one of the following areas: construction, ventilation, control and regulation technology, electrical qualification, or other education/experience that the employer considers suitable for the assignment. • You should also have the ability to perform other minor repairs and have knowledge of IT technology regarding basic service, installation, and more. • A driver's license with at least B-category is required. • Good computer skills. It is important that you are service-oriented and independently responsible for work tasks, have good organizational skills and good ability to work independently based on the nature of the assignment. You also need to be flexible, responsive, stress-resilient, resourceful and ambitious, and have good collaboration skills. Great importance will be placed on the applicant's personal qualities, work initiative and ability, responsibility, and collaboration skills. Work experience from similar tasks is an asset.
