In our central kitchen, we prepare and serve approximately 1,200 daily portions each day. Together with your colleagues, you participate in the entire cooking process – from planning and preparations to cooking and handling special diets for our meal guests in preschools, schools, and elderly care. We are staffed year-round between 7 AM–5 PM.
Our ambition is to cook as much food as possible from scratch and create meals that are delicious, safe, nutritious, sustainable, and pleasant. We want every meal guest to feel satisfied, both with the food and with the treatment they receive.
All our menus and meals are planned according to the National Food Agency's recommendations and the Education Act's requirements. In daily work, we use the meal planning system Mashie for menu planning and follow-up.

WORK DUTIES
As a cook, your work duties include planning, preparing, and cooking meals according to menus and recipes. You also prepare special diets and texture-modified meals according to our meal guests' needs. In daily work, you use the nutrition software Mashie for meal and recipe planning and management. You perform self-checks according to the facility's food safety procedures and place orders for food and other supplies needed in the kitchen.
We are looking for someone who is committed, service-oriented, and independent. You should be solution-focused and work well in a team.
Work is scheduled during daytime hours and may also include weekend shifts.

QUALIFICATIONS
• At least 3 years of experience working in restaurant and/or institutional kitchen settings.
• Relevant education and at least 3 years of restaurant and institutional kitchen training.
• Knowledge of special diets and allergies as well as texture-modified meals.
• Good IT skills as we work with e-commerce and the meal planning software Mashie.
• Good communication skills to reach out to and communicate with customers.
• Fluent Swedish (speaking and reading) as the work involves special diets.
• Knowledge of kitchen economics and environmental awareness as these are major parts of daily work.
• Knowledge of food hygiene and self-checks.
