We are now looking for you who wants to work with planning electrical maintenance for SSAB's metallurgy facilities. You'll have the opportunity to work in an exciting industrial environment with a strong focus on safety, environment, and quality. You'll serve as technical support for daytime electricians and also for the emergency crew working shifts. Work location: Oxelösund. Becoming part of the SSAB family means joining a journey. This is a varied position where safety and operational improvement are in focus. You'll have the opportunity to work with colleagues from different operations and be part of SSAB's journey toward fossil-free steel. The group you'll join consists of 7 technicians and 19 electricians, of which 8 are generalists. You will work with planning and preparation of maintenance work within electrical systems and facility improvements. Troubleshooting and fault correction in the facilities also occur and are part of the assignment. Your main responsibilities Conduct preventive maintenance and improvement work. Analyze disruptions that occur and develop action proposals. Plan maintenance shutdowns in consultation with operations. Stay daily updated on the status of the facilities. Participate in facility projects. Develop proposals for long-term maintenance plans and budgets for your area. Serve as electrical safety officer for your area of responsibility. About you You are an electrician or technician with some years of experience in electrical work. You have an interest in technology and want to work with development and improvements. You are comfortable in a coordinating role with both administrative and practical tasks. You are a team player who values communication and collaboration. You enjoy varied days and new challenges.
