Professor in Childhood Studies

At the Childhood Studies unit, unique interdisciplinary research is conducted that combines a focus on children's agency and social interactions with a critical and theoretical awareness of children and childhood's shifting meanings across time and space. The department conducts research training and undergraduate education with a focus on questions about children and childhood. Within undergraduate education, an international master's program is offered, along with standalone courses and teacher education courses. We are now seeking a professor who, in their role as a research leader, can build an interdisciplinary research area, through which the Childhood Studies unit can continue to broaden and develop its activities.
