ABOUT BK SERVICES BK Services offers assistance with CE marking, regulatory testing, and product review within EMC, electrical safety, radio testing, and climate testing. They are located in newly built and fresh facilities in Ebbepark in Linköping. The company is in an expansive phase and now wants to strengthen the team within electrical safety. ABOUT THE ROLE As an electrical safety inspector at BK Services, you are offered a creative work environment where you get to specialize in different areas by examining electronic components and testing their safety. You will work broadly with everything from smaller measuring instruments to larger and more complex systems, both related to consumer and industrial electronics. In the role, you work on projects that run for one to two weeks, after which you move on to something new and exciting. As an electrical safety inspector, you also work with a good deal of technical documentation, both before projects through review of materials/standards and afterwards as you dedicate yourself to report writing. Beyond exciting work tasks, you are offered engaged and supportive colleagues as well as a stimulating role where you take a lot of responsibility yourself and have a lot of influence over how you shape your work. WHO ARE YOU? We are looking for someone who has a good understanding of and great interest in electronics and/or automation. We see that you have previous work experience in, for example, electrical schematics, circuit boards, and/or electronic components. It is also a merit if you like to investigate how things work, to take apart and tinker with components. You also have a strong will and drive to learn new things. We believe you have an engineering degree in electronics and/or previous experience working in one of the following areas: Work with measuring instruments Product development Product testing Electrical safety work To fit the role, you have a genuine interest in helping others.
