Quality Engineer Battery Foil
Do you want to drive quality efforts for the strategically important Battery Cathode Foil segment at Gränges Finspång AB? A unique opportunity to help shape the energy solutions of the future. Responsibilities Drive and manage quality efforts for battery cathode foil in close collaboration with production and customers. Together with the team, you are responsible for advancing the battery foil initiative by translating customer requirements and expectations to your organization in order to ensure quality assurance of product development and manufactured material. Experience and Competence Relevant education is a civil engineering degree or equivalent academic degree. You have strong technical quality knowledge and understanding of quality work within the automotive industry and its standards. Desirable Knowledge - Very strong technical knowledge and solid understanding of quality work and its standards, IATF 16949 and VDA/AIAG - Experience with ongoing audit work - Experience with Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent certification/work experience - Experience with advanced quality planning (APQP) - Experience with cross-functional work - Well versed in measurement and calibration methods Additional Meriting Experience and Competence - Experience with quality work in Automotive - Experience with foil manufacturing To succeed in this role, you have strong collaboration skills and are communicative as the position requires high levels of coordination with both internal and external contacts. You enjoy working with varied tasks, both practical and strategic. You have a strong problem-solving focus and actively participate in the quality team's work with customer complaints, supporting the development and implementation of corrective and preventive actions for defective products.
