Production Planner / Tool Technician for Global Defense Leader!
Do you want to take the next step in production engineering and work with tools, fixtures, and advanced manufacturing solutions? As a production planner / tool technician, you'll play a key role in translating design specifications into practical solutions and help shape how our products are manufactured. About the Role As a production planner / tool technician, you'll develop, design, and prepare production documentation for tools and equipment used across several business areas. You'll work with a diverse range of products and solutions – from lifting devices and maintenance tools to hydraulic pumps, molds, milling fixtures, and other manufacturing aids. You'll become part of an engaged team where design, procurement, logistics, and production work closely together. The role allows you to use your understanding of manufacturing and production to develop practical, efficient, and quality-assured solutions. You'll participate in projects and development work where you're responsible for production planning and tool engineering matters related to tools, fixtures, and test equipment for aircraft and other advanced products. Your Main Responsibilities Handle, interpret, and review design documentation and drawings Prepare products and develop suitable tools, fixtures, and manufacturing solutions Assess manufacturability and suggest improvements Select and evaluate materials, tools, and manufacturing methods Optimize lead times, material consumption, and manufacturing costs Contribute to the development and efficiency of work methods and production processes Your Profile For us, personality is just as important as experience. Required Qualifications Production engineering education and/or relevant production-related work experience, for example as a production technician, production planner, tool technician, or similar Understanding of metal processing and mechanical machining, such as milling, turning, and grinding Good computer skills Strong knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written Merits CAD work experience Experience with steel/aluminum Terms The assignment is classified as security-sensitive.
