Traffic Manager at Skånetrafiken Service Trips in Hässleholm

Service trips are part of public transportation and refer to mobility services and medical transportation provided using service vehicles. With service trips, we want it to be easy to travel throughout Skåne, and for Skånetrafiken it is central that customers with functional variation have quality of life throughout their lives. Currently, we conduct approximately 6,700 trips every day where we should offer our customers a simple, safe, and accessible journey to their medical appointments, work, or leisure activity. Service trips currently consist of approximately 130 employees, and within the business area there are units for mobility services, medical transportation, business, customer-facing services, booking reception, and traffic management. The main task of traffic management is to create efficient and proactive traffic management that anticipates delays and takes action so that the customer feels safe with their journey. Our goal is to create the world's best travel experience for our customers. You will work in our new, beautiful offices at our headquarters in Hässleholm. You can travel there easily by train in 20 minutes from Älmhult and Kristianstad, 30 minutes from Lund, 45 minutes from Malmö, and one hour from Helsingborg. 6 position(s). WORK DUTIES We now have the opportunity to welcome six new traffic managers to our team! The positions consist of two permanent positions and four temporary assignments running from September 2026 to September 2027. At our traffic management office, no two days are alike, and the role of traffic manager is therefore a position for someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is a good team player. The role includes responsibility for traffic management of the service trips that Skånetrafiken operates. You work both operationally and proactively with traffic planning, where the focus is on ensuring that trips are carried out efficiently, safely, and with high service quality. The work also includes monitoring and collaboration with drivers and transport operators to ensure quality and punctuality in traffic. In addition to working proactively, you as a traffic manager need to be skilled at real-time planning, see new solutions, and optimize routes as new trips arise. You do this through our planning tools and IT systems. Your work duties also include managing incident reporting for the purpose of providing feedback to transport operators, travelers, and other stakeholders.
