The hospital houses Skåne's largest elective orthopedic operations and one of Scandinavia's largest centers for hip and knee replacement surgery, while also providing community care, internal medicine specialist care, and specialized rehabilitation. The operations have a budget of approximately 1 billion kronor and approximately 600 employees who work together to develop and strengthen future healthcare. Hässleholms Hospital is facing one of its largest investments through the Future Orthopedics in Hässleholm (FORTH) project. The new hospital building, planned to be completed in fall 2028, is a strategic investment that will create the conditions for future orthopedic care, research, and education. 1 position(s). RESPONSIBILITIES Your role as the administration-wide Finance Manager means you are ultimately responsible for driving and developing the administration's financial processes, which include: accounting, budgeting, monitoring, analysis, forecasting, and financial management. You have an important strategic role and assist the administration director and other administration management in their mission to lead, steer, and coordinate the administration's operations in order to achieve set goals. As Finance Manager, you contribute to a long-term strong financial position with a focus on managing allocated resources efficiently and maintaining a balanced budget. Your work also includes board responsibilities to the Hässleholms Hospital Board. As an administration-wide Finance Manager, you report directly to the administration director for Hässleholms Hospital and are part of the administration's management team. At the same time, you work close to the hospital's operations and support the hospital's managers on financial matters. You are also part of the region's overall finance function, which contributes to efficient financial management in Region Skåne. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who can lead and navigate complex contexts and who is driven by continuously developing operations. You have an interest in working in dialogue with managers and employees on a wide range of financial matters at different levels. To succeed in the role, you need to have good analytical, pedagogical, and communication skills that enable you to convey financial messages and processes in a simple and clear way. As a person, you are confident, present, and contribute to creating dialogue and participation. You have the ability to create structure in complex situations and are driven to develop working methods and processes together with others. Through a responsive and trust-building approach, you build good collaborations with both managers and employees. Regarding formal qualifications, we want you to have a university or college degree with an economic focus. Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, is required. You have at least five years of experience with qualified work in financial management in a large organization, including budgeting, forecasting, monitoring, analysis, and business planning. It is meritorious if you have worked with business development, business management, or change management. Likewise, experience working in politically governed organizations is advantageous.
