Needs Assessment for the Elderly is responsible for the exercise of public authority under the Social Services Act for people over 65 years old. The area is led by an area manager and includes a staff and four assistance units with a total of 93 committed employees. Each unit is led by a unit manager, and within the units work social services case officers, mentors, group leaders, transportation service and fee handlers, and administrators. Your role As a social services case officer, you are responsible for investigating needs, assessing, deciding, and following up on interventions according to the Social Services Act for people over 65 years old. Follow-up of granted interventions, implementation, and costs are part of the case management process. The work consists largely of documentation and meetings with others and therefore places high demands on good communication in speech and writing.
