F 16 is responsible for Uppsala Garrison and the operations of Uppsala Airport. The Squadron is also responsible for the surveillance of Swedish airspace around the clock, year-round, and leads the Swedish Air Force's fighter aircraft in the air. You will be part of a military organization undergoing significant change and development due to the global situation and Sweden's NATO membership. About the Unit Garrison Battalion 163 consists of the Logistics Company, Garrison Company, and Training Company, which together create the conditions for assigned units to focus on executing their main mission. The Battalion's role and tasks are developing rapidly to meet the new tasks and challenges that Sweden and the Swedish Armed Forces face. Main Duties As an implementation planning officer, you are an important part as a recipient of tasks from higher command and for reporting back to them. The time horizon of tasks varies from solving emerging issues within an hour to planning several years ahead.
