The University-wide IT department works with strategic IT matters and serves as a service organization for shared services, with responsibilities including infrastructure, management, service, and support. The department has approximately 200 employees distributed across five units. Job Responsibilities As a technical systems administrator specializing in e-archiving, you will primarily work with configuration and administration of our e-archive system (Marshal OAIS) and related services. You will work closely with the organizations that use these services, providing support before and during archiving activities. The role also includes user support, meaning support through a ticket management system. Qualifications Relevant education at least at upper secondary school level in, for example, computer science, systems science, or equivalent experience that the employer deems equivalent At least two years of experience in database administration and/or systems development Ability to follow documentation and document according to established standards Strong verbal and written communication skills in Swedish and English Great weight will be placed on personal suitability, such as your ability to take own initiatives and work independently and in a structured manner in an environment where the pace is periodically high. The work requires good communication and teamwork skills, as well as the ability to adapt your approach to users with different needs and backgrounds. Important personal qualities include being well-organized, flexible, driven, having a well-developed service mindset, and good collaboration skills. Desirable/Meriting Experience Experience with Marshal OAIS and ETL At least 1 year of experience working with e-archiving Experience with XSLT, XML, JavaScript, C#, or CSS Experience working in a university/college or similar large organization Knowledge of applicable regulations concerning e-archiving Experience working with a ticket management system About the Position The employment is time-limited through 2027-07-31.
