The electricity grid industry is facing its biggest transformation in decades. Electrification, increased power needs, and new demands for flexibility are changing how future grids need to be planned and operated.
As a Planner in the Electricity Grid, you will have an important role in shaping and developing the distribution grid of the future. You work close to the operations where you plan, design, and drive the development of the grid based on investment plans, new connections, and strategic maintenance. There is also an opportunity to broaden your expertise further by joining the emergency response organization as a duty operations manager.
The position is varied with significant independent responsibility where you drive your work forward independently with a focus on quality and efficiency. With short decision-making paths, close collaboration, and a strong technology focus, you have the opportunity to influence both work methods and the development of the future electricity grid. The role includes preparing work environment plans, construction drawings, conducting site visits, managing permit processes, building permits, and line agreements. You also work with design, grid calculations, and documentation – all to ensure sustainable and well-functioning solutions.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who:
Are an electrical engineer or have other equivalent relevant education or experience
Have planning training (additional merit)
Have several years of practical experience from electricity distribution
Are driven, self-directed, and motivated by moving forward and reaching ambitious goals
Are interested in digitalization and development of efficient work methods
Have good ability to collaborate and communicate with both external and internal stakeholders
Have a B driver's license
Have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
